Blog to Book

I've taken the first year of posts from Scribbler's Toolbox and turned them into a book that's now up on Amazon. I used this amazing tool called Kindle Create, which made the whole process of layout design, cover creation, and updating the manuscript a total breeze.

For me, publishing on Amazon isn't about making money; it's about getting my work out in the world and creating something tangible. The process has been a great way to learn new tools and gain insight into a new world.

Hyped from this experience, I'm already thinking about what’s next. I've got a collection of screenplays I wrote during COVID that could make a fun collection. A guide on worldbuilding I use internally that other folks might get value from. As a hobby I’ve been working on a tabletop miniature war game and an RPG. I don’t have the expectation anyone will buy them. For me, it’s a fun way to engineer accountability, stay creative, and push my productivity.

The storytelling landscape is bursting with possibilities. I encourage you to experiment, share, and keep moving forward. Consume less! Create more!
